The answer came from a completely unexpected direction. Listening to the acoustics of the Kondo RUTHY-1-2-4 and Ongaku speakers, I noted the extraordinary comfort of their sound and, at the same time, the responsiveness and sincerity in the presentation of music. Structurally, they are all broadband, but with one caveat - they all have a suede suspension. Anyone who read Hiroyasu Kondo's reasoning probably noted his scrupulousness in the choice of materials, element base, etc. Silver coils, capacitors, cables, transformers. And everything he did was carefully controlled. Everything is written about...except pendants...not a word!!!
The history of genuine leather pendants goes back to the 20s: RCA, TELEFUNKEN, JENSEN, WESTERN ELECTRIC, DIATONE, etc., and leather was used in elite or professional expensive models. At that time they cost several months' salaries!!!
